Hybrid Quantum Computing and Machine Learning Algorithm for Autonomous Robotic Surgical Systems
Official Research Project Title: Improving Robotic Arm Precision and Accuracy Using a Novel Quantum Kolmogorov-Arnold Network Algorithm
Begun in June 2024, this project came about as a result of my ongoing quantum computing inspiration from my grandfather. Combined with my years of passion for robotics and my desire to create a project with longevity, I aimed to research solutions in the medical field. I spent months researching preliminary papers, programming hundreds of lines of Python code, discussing with my project mentor, Professor Anthony Hoffman from the University of Notre Dame, and ultimately independently authoring a twenty-two page published paper.
